Controlling odours and VOC’s

Air Spectrum Environmental has launched the Remedi-Cat™ Catalytic Oxidizer into the UK market. The volatile organic compound (VOC) abatement unit is designed specifically for use on contaminated land.

The Remedi-Cat™ provides 99+ per cent destruction efficiency, is low in weight and benefits from a small footprint to ensure mobility from site-to-site and ease of placement.

Tackling VOC’s

The Remedi-Cat™ Catalytic Oxidizer destroys organic vapour contaminants which are discharged from soil vapour extraction and groundwater treatment systems during site remediation. VOC's can cause problems for operators,neighbouring communities and the environment if not controlled. This product enables operators to benefit from avoiding non-compliance with environmental regulations, preventing investigation, fines and possible project delays.

The company also offers the Regenerative Thermal Oxidiser (RTO), which destroys 99 per cent of volatile organic compounds (VOC) and toxins from industrial process exhausts.

The RTO provides effective VOC reduction and odour control through high temperature thermal oxidation. During this process energy is released into a secondary ceramic media bed. This negates the need for any supplementary fuel ensuring on-going running costs are kept low.

Automated control

The RTO benefits from automatic controls ensuring minimal operator action is required. The operator may simply 'fit and forget' the equipment which has low maintenance requirements.
